A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Elizabethtown on Saturday, January 10.
The crash happened just before 9 p.m. in the 1000 block of North Dixie Avenue. Elizabethtown police said their initial investigation shows a SUV heading southbound hit a man who was walking in the vehicle’s lane of travel.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released.
Police said the driver, a juvenile male, initially left the scene but was brought back by a sibling. That juvenile is charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
