A Scottsville man has been arrested after the issuance of an active indictment warrant.
According to the Scottsville Police Department, 26-year-old Justin A. Phillips was taken into custody on Friday afternoon.
Phillips was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, which he tried to discard, and a concealed weapon. Due to this, 2 additional charges were added to the warrant.
Phillips was charged with possession of a controlled substance in the first degree (third or subsequent offense, specifically methamphetamine), carrying a concealed weapon, tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Scottsville Police Department was also assisted by the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force and the Allen County Sheriffs Office.
