Ronald “Ron” Leroy Tennyson, 78, passed away in his home on January 12, 2026.
He was born on August 20, 1947, in Greenville, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marla Lucille Tennyson; his father, Halvor Leroy Tennyson; his mother, Faye Miranda Watson Tennyson; and his brother, Jack Tennyson.

One sister: Shari Leonard;
One granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
A public memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central (2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY 40160) followed by the U.S. Army Honor Guard with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers in Ron’s memory (2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306).
