A 95-year-old woman died in a house fire in Barren County Tuesday evening, according to authorities.
Coroner Tim Gibson said the fire occurred at 617 Bunch Road in Cave City around 7:45 p.m. Valeria Peden was found inside the home, and her body was transported to the state medical examiner’s office in Louisville.
The Barren County Sheriff’s Office said an investigation is ongoing.
