A 38-year-old man has been identified as the latest victim of Louisville’s ongoing gun violence.
Jashaun Brown died of multiple gunshot wounds on the night of February 12 on Garland Avenue in the California neighborhood.
Shortly after 10 p.m., recorded radio traffic revealed the moment officers found Brown apparently dead of multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses at the scene said Brown was shot in his car. Some described a possible suspect running away wearing a black hoodie and a mask.
LMPD would not confirm any of details. Instead, officers went door to door in California Square on Friday the 13th, as residents struggled to regain their sense of security.
