A Barren County man is facing multiple charges after police say he assaulted two women and kidnapped a child.
Glasgow Police Department officers responded to a disturbance at a Lexington Drive home Thursday, according to a media release.
Further investigation found that 42 year-old Troy Lawson came to the residence and assaulted two women before entering a bedroom, taking a child and leaving, the release alleged.
Officers say they located Lawson and the child a short distance from the home, and the child was returned to the home unharmed.
Lawson was arrested and charged with the following:
Kidnapping a minor
Endangering the welfare of a minor
Second-degree assault
Fourth-degree assault (minor injury)
Second-degree burglary
Public intoxication
According to jail records, no bond has been set.
