35-year-old Morganfield man has been identified as the victim killed in a shooting at a Henderson County home over the weekend, according to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office.
Justin Utley died after Henderson County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a shots-fired call around midnight Sunday at a home in the 13000 block of Ranch Road in Waverly, near Smith Mills.
A 40-year-old Henderson County man was also shot and suffered serious injuries. He has been released from the hospital.
Investigators said the shooting happened after an argument broke out at a get-together at the home.
Two Henderson County residents, ages 16 and 17, have been taken into custody and booked into the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center.
No charges have been formally announced.
