
Campbellsville funeral home director has been indicted on felony charges related to defrauding more than a dozen families.
Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman announced on Thursday, June 18, that 53-year-old Donald Auberry was indicted by a Taylor County Grand Jury on 13 counts of violation of trust provisions and pre need payments for funeral services.
The indictment claims that Auberry defrauded families who paid for funeral services at least 13 times between July 2021 and April 2025.
The investigation was led by the Attorney General’s Department of Investigations.
Auberry’s arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23.
