
A small plane crashed in a rural area of KY 169 this morning, leaving two people dead, according to Jessamine County Sheriff Kevin Grimes.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 8:46 a.m. after multiple 911 calls reported a possible aircraft down between U.S. 27 and U.S. 68. Responders accessed a nearby farm and located a small aircraft that had crashed.
The sheriff’s office said the crash remains under investigation and authorities are awaiting the arrival of the FAA and NTSB to assist.
