A Morgantown man is behind bars after an investigation into multiple thefts.
On June 30, Bowling Green Police responded to reports of a vehicle break-in and a motorcycle theft that occurred in two different areas of town. During the investigation, officers recognized the suspect and the suspect’s vehicle from surveillance video.
On Wednesday, July 1, officers located and arrested 33-year-old Nickulas B. Page of Morgantown.
Police say he admitted to the thefts during an interview. Page provided detectives with enough information to lead with an execution of a search warrant at his residence on River Street.
During the search, detectives and officers located suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and additional suspected stolen property.
Page was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail and is charged with the following:
Theft by Unlawful Taking (Contents from a Vehicle) – $1,000 to $10,000
Theft by Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle – Greater than $10,000
Criminal Mischief, First Degree
Possession of a Controlled Substance, First Degree (Methamphetamine)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He is being held on a $6,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 8.
The investigation remains ongoing.
