
Shively Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) issued an Emergency Suspension for the liquor license of a business after a quadruple shooting that left a man dead.
Shively Police responded to a call at 2:49 a.m. of a shooting at HK Liquors on Ralph Avenue on Saturday, July 11. Officers found four men at the scene who had been shot, with one being pronounced dead.
On Sunday, July 12, Shively ABC announced that they had issued an Emergency Suspension of the bar’s liquor license following the homicide.
Shively ABC says the suspension is seperate from the criminal investigation into the shooting, which remains active.
Detectives ask anyone with potential information related to the shooting to call SPD at (502) 448-6181, or to submit an anonymous tip by calling (502) 930-2773.
