A woman has been charged with murder in connection to the death of a four-month-old girl in September 2025.
Louisville Metro Police arrested 28 year-old Maria Perez from a homicide on September 18, 2025.
The investigation began on September 19 when Louisville Metro Police Department homicide detectives were called to Norton Children’s Hospital for a four-month who was in grave condition. The child had sustained serious traumatic injuries.
Perez was arrested on Sunday, July 12, and was scheduled to be in court at 3 p.m. Monday, July 13.
