Kentucky State Police Troopers are working on the scene of a shooting in the 2000 block of Possum Trot Road in northern Hart County near the Hardyville area.
Police say a family member came to a home in that area to find a 20 year-old male with a gunshot wound. The victim was airlifted from the scene to University of Louisville Hospital. Police say it does not appear to be a self-inflicted wound, but no arrests have been made in the case.
While law enforcement are working hard to uncover evidence at the scene, those leads could very well come from the community. Anyone with any information about this shooting can call Kentucky State Police in Bowling Green.
