A small plane crash near a church in Vine Grove remains under investigation by the Vine Grove Police Department and the FAA.
The Beech 35 aircraft crashed on departure from the Vine Grove airport at 4:15 p.m. Friday (12/04), according to the FAA. The plane landed in a parking lot near Valley View Church.
Vine Grove Police Chief Kenneth Mattingly said the pilot told officers he lost power after taking off.
The pilot was the only person inside the plane. No injuries were reported.
