Police say a man is facing a murder charge for fatally stabbing a Madison County dispatcher Friday night.
Investigators say 25-year-old Dustin Sparks stabbed 28-year-old Benjamin Brewer in the neck with a knife after an argument broke out between the two while at a party at an Owsley County home.
Sparks was arrested after the incident, and authorities say he was highly intoxicated at the scene.
A motive in the stabbing has not been released.
Sparks was being held Sunday in the Three Forks Regional Jail on $500,000 bond.
