
Kentucky State Police continue to investigate a two vehicle accident that claimed the lives of three Bardstown men Sunday (12/20) morning.
The accident occurred at approximately 7 a.m. on Louisville Road (31E) in Nelson County when for unknown reasons a southbound 2011 Chevrolet Malibu driven by 24 year-old Jordan Hickman crossed the center line striking a northbound 1996 Dodge pickup driven by 20 year-old Brian Waldridge of Bardstown.
Hickman along with two passengers in his car, 25 year-old Tyler Foster and 24-year-old Keaton Hall, were pronounced dead at the scene by the Nelson County Coroner. All three of the deceased were from Bardstown.
Waldridge was airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital in serious condition.
The roadway was closed for several hours while Kentucky State Police reconstructed accident and cleared the scene.
The Kentucky State Police were assisted by the Nelson County EMS, Nelson County Sheriff Department, Bardstown Fire Department and the Nelson County Coroner.
