A two vehicle crash near the 96 mile marker just north of Elizabethtown on Interstate 65 claimed the life of a Glendale woman Tuesday morning.
The accident happened just after 9 a.m. when a northbound 2004 Chevrolet driven by 21 year-old Lynnsey Nicole Johnson went out of control, left the roadway and struck a guardrail. Northbound traffic was delayed with one lane open for several hours while Kentucky State Police Troopers reconstructed the accident. The accident remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
Kentucky State Police was assisted on the scene by the Hardin County Sheriff Department, KSP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, Hardin County EMS, Central Hardin Fire Department, Elizabethtown Fire Department and the Hardin County Coroner’s office.
