The Logan County Sheriff’s Department and Logan County Search and Rescue found the body of 23-year-old Allison Walker in the Red River in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Department began searching for Allison Monday night when her husband reported her missing after she didn’t come home at the time she was expected to.
The search resumed Tuesday with the Logan County Search and Rescue team when Allison’s brother-in-law indicated to detectives during an interview that he knew where the body was.
After further investigation, 20 year-old George Walker was booked in the Logan County Jail on charges of murder and tampering with physical evidence.
