An armed man robbed four businesses in four hours Christmas day, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department.
The robberies happened early Friday morning, between 2 a.m. and 6:15 a.m., and all in a small area, according to police.
Police say the same man robbed the America’s Best Value Inn on Kemmons Drive, a Days Inn on Fern Valley Road, a Super 8 on Preston Highway and a Waffle House on Bishop Lane.
The police are investigating the crimes and reviewing surveillance video.
There was also an attempted robbery in the Newburg neighborhood early Friday morning. It happened at 6 a.m. at a Stop-N-Go on Indian Oak Circle. According to stores employees, the man was a regular customer. They say he came right as shifts were changing, but didn’t take any money because he ran when customers started coming in.
