Two 18-year-olds are charged with the murders of two men in Shively.
Marquice Hamilton and Brian Hutchings were taken into custody Tuesday in connection to the shooting deaths of 26 year-old Jermaine Simmons and 20 year-old Kamal Lawson, according to the Shively Police Department.
Jefferson County Deputy Coroner J. David Wood said Simmons and Lawson were found dead about 5 p.m. on March 31 in a car parked in a driveway in the 1900 block of Appleton Lane.
Myers said investigators believe Simmons and Lawson were attempting to sell marijuana to Hamilton and Hutchings when the shooting happened.
In addition to murder, Hamilton and Hutchings are charged with robbery and tampering with physical evidence.
