
A homemade explosive device was found inside a vehicle near a Shepherdsville motel Wednesday (6/1) morning.
Officers with the Shepherdsville Police Department responded to a disturbance call at the Motel 6 around 2:20 am. They located a vehicle matching a description provided by the 911 caller and stopped it as the driver exited the motel’s parking area.
The officers found a homemade explosive in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The device was secured with the help of the Louisville Metro Police Department Bomb Squad.
Police arrested Pashense Hoffman, Charles Keith and Mark Cundiff all of Shepherdsville, are charged with possession of a destructive device.
