A two-vehicle accident in Hardinsburg at the intersection of US Highway 60 and old Highway 60 tied up traffic nearly four hours on Monday (11/14) afternoon.
According to Hardinsburg Police, a truck driven by 67 year-old Orville Taul of Hardinsburg was attempting to turn from Highway 60 onto old 60 around 12:40 pm CST when his vehicle pulled into the path of a westbound semi driven by 60 year-old Richard Elliott of Greenville. The impact caused the semi to roll down an incline onto it’s side.
Police said neither driver was injured, but the semi was carrying sawdust, which had to be removed before the truck could be uprighted. Crews remained on-scene until after 4:30 Monday afternoon.
