Emergency crews in Meade County responded to a fatal accident near Muldraugh Saturday (11/26) evening.
The multi- vehicle accident happened just after 7 pm along Highway 1638, known as Old Mill Road, at the intersection of LG&E Road. One person was killed while two others were taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown by Meade County EMS. The Meade County Sheriff’s Department, Muldraugh Fire Department, Kentucky State Police, Kentucky Fish and Wildlife, at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet responded to the scene which kept the roadway closed several hours.
Kentucky State Police is conducting the investigation of the accident and has not released any other information at the present time.
