A man who tried to flee from authorities Thursday afternoon is now facing multiple charges.
According to Breckinridge County Sheriff Department, 31 year-old Patrick S. Burch of Hardinsburg, was arrested at a local department store around 2:30 pm Thursday (12/15)on a charge of public intoxication. Shortly after his arrival at the Breckinridge County Courthouse, Burch fled from authorities but was located about 20 minutes later, hiding in the bed of a pick-up truck in the area of a nearby funeral home.
In addition to intoxication, Burch also faces charges of escape third degree, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance and was lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center. The case remains under investigation.
