Customs and Border Protection officers seized a shipment containing hundreds of counterfeit watches in Louisville on October 23, officials announced Friday.
Officials said if the watches had been genuine, they would have been worth more than $66 million.
Officials said the shipment from Hong Kong was headed to Texas when officers pulled the package for inspection.
Officers found 460 watches bearing Audemars Piguet trademarks and they were deemed inauthentic by the agency’s trade experts, according to officials.
Officials encourage consumers to buy products from reputable sellers. Suspected trade violations can be reported through CBP’s Trade Violations Reporting website.
