A two vehicle accident in Irvington sent a juvenile to the hospital Tuesday (12/27) night.
According to the Irvington Police Department, the accident happened just before 8 pm CST in the 400 block on North Highway 79 near the railroad tracks. A black 2005 Chevrolet driven by 18 year-old Katelyn Gilbert of Radcliff struck a 1999 Dodge Dakota pickup driven by 18 year-old Michael Gillespie of Louisville.
A juvenile passenger in Gillespie’s truck was treated at the scene and taken to Breckinridge Memorial Hospital By Breck Central EMS. Both Gillespie and Gilbert refused treatment at the scene. The Irvington Fire Department also assisted at the scene which closed the roadway about an hour.
