
Emergency crews were called to a couple of accidents in Meade County in recent days.
The first accident happened on Saturday (1/21) around 9:15 pm at the intersection of Kentucky 313 and Highway 1816 Road in Flaherty. The two vehicle accidnet sent one person to Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown by Meade County EMS for their injuries. The Flaherty Fire Department and Meade County Sheriff’s Department were on the scene about hour to clean up the roadway.
A single vehicle accident occurred Tuesday (1/24) in Lick Skillet around 6:20 pm. According to the Meade County Sheriff’s Department, the vehicle struck a deer at near the intersection of Highway 1638 and Kentucky 1238. the driver was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown by Meade County EMS for their injuries. The Meade County Fire Department and Muldraugh Police assisted the Meade County Sheriff’s Department at the scene. Crews were on the scene about an hour for clean up.
