A Battletown woman was taken to the hospital after a accident near Garrett.
According to the Meade County Sheriff’s Department, the accidnet happened around 5:50 pm Sunday (2/19) in the 6600 block of Brandenburg Road when two vehicles were traveling south. A 2010 Toyota RAV4 driven by 22 year-old Tiffany Mullins was turning into a driveway when the second car, a 2002 Mazda driven by 24 year-old Jonathan Klinglesmith of Ekron, did not allow enough stopping distance and struck the back of Mullin’s car.
Mullins was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital by Meade County EMS for minor injuries. Klinglesmith refused treatment at the scene. The Ekron Fire Department assisted the Meade County Sheriff’s Department at the scene.
