Grayson County Sheriff’s Department and Kentucky State Police responded to a report of two men attempting to break into a garage Friday (2/24) night around 8:30 pm CST on Shrewberry Road.
As police arrived on the scene in the 1900 block of Shrewsberry Road, the men had fled from the address. One of the men, identified as David Higdon of Millwood, was spotted as he ran across a field, stole a truck and crashed it into an outbuilding. Higdon was arrested after a brief struggle with police.
Higdon was taken to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center by Grayson County EMS and was later lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center on charges of attempted theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief, resisting arrest, criminal trespassing, menacing, and alcohol intoxication.
The investigation is ongoing in the case.
