
A Meade County man is facing numerous charges after a domestic dispute Monday (3/13) night.
Just before 11 pm Monday, the Meade County Sheriff’s Department along with the Flaherty Fire Department were called to residence in the 1000 block of Hobbs Reesor Road after domestic dispute between a man and woman became heated. During the dispute the male subject, later identified as 35 year-old Casey Evans set fire in the residence. The female at the residence was able to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher before fire crews arrived at the scene.
After the short investigation, Evans was arrested and lodged in the Meade County Detention Center on charges of arson, first degree; wanton endangerment, first degree; and other outstanding warrants. Emergency crews were on the scene about 45 minutes.
