Emergency crews in Meade County were called to a early morning accident in Muldraugh.
The accident happened around 8 am Tuesday (5/2) morning along the southbound lanes of the 100 block of US 31W when a car ran off of the road and struck a tree. Muldraugh Police, Meade County Sheriff’s Department, Meade County EMS and Muldraugh Fire Department responded to the scene. After being evaluated and the preliminary investigation at the scene, 25 year-old Jamine Baldon of Louisville was arrested at the scene.
Baldon is charged with two counts of reckless driving; possession of synthetic drugs; operating a motor vehicle under the influence; failure of non-owner operator insurance; possession of drug paraphernalia; and driving on a suspended license. Baldon was lodged in the Meade County Detention Center.
