
A Webster man was arrested over the weekend after leading local law enforcement on a brief slow speed pursuit.
According to the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Department, 35 year-old Shawn Fetch of Webster failed to stop his vehicle for Breckinridge County Constable Wayne Beauchamp on North Highway 261 near Webster around 8:45 pm Saturday (5/6).
Constable Beauchamp began the ten to fifteen minute pursuit which was joined by a Breckinridge County Sheriff Deputy that reached speeds of 10 to 20 mph, before the deputy was able to maneuver in front of Fetch causing him to stop.
Fetch was arrested on charges of fleeing or evading police second degree; reckless driving; operating a motor vehicle under the influence drug or alcohol, first offense; and license to be in possession. Fetch was lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center.
