Construction crews will be working to shift traffic to the new section of Kentucky 313 beginning on Thursday(7/27).
Chris Jessie, spokesman for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet in Elizabethtown said, traffic will be switched onto the newly constructed section of Kentucky 313 from Doe Run to the KY 1051/448 Bypass in Brandenburg. The move will allow the contractor to continue construction of the five-lane section from Cedar Line Road to Brandenburg by tearing out existing KY 448.
Motorists should slow down and pay close attention to work zone signage. Jessie said the project remains on schedule to be completed by this fall.
