
Kentucky State Police Post 16 detectives arrested three Dundee resident for multiple felonies on Thursday (12/29).
Kentucky State Police detectives initiated an investigation at Pilgrim’s Rest School in Dundee after Social Services investigated allegations of abuse. The investigation started in October of 2022 and detectives presented the case before the Ohio County Grand Jury.
The Grand Jury indicted 52 year-old Kelly R. Vanderkooi on Twenty-one counts of Criminal Abuse 1st Degree (child 12 or under) and Ten counts of Assault 4th Degree (Child Abuse).
The Grand Jury indicted 28 year-old Johnathan V. Vanderkooi on Eight counts of Criminal Abuse 1st Degree (child 12 or under) and Three counts of Assault 4th Degree (Child Abuse).
The Grand Jury indicted 27 year-old Amanda Vanderkooi on One count of Sexual Abuse 1st Degree.
All are being held in the Ohio County Detention Center in Hartford under a $50,000 cash bond each.
The investigation is ongoing by Kentucky State Police.
