A Radcliff man has been arrested and charged with rape after police say he sexually assaulted a woman and doused her in various liquids and condiments.
Shakeda Shadawn Taylor, 34, of Radcliff was arrested Saturday by police following a warrant for his arrest.
According to the warrant, on July 2, Taylor had grabbed the woman, stripped her naked, threw her on the floor and poured slime, vegetable oil, ketchup, syrup, BBQ sauce and hot sauce all over the woman’s body.
While pouring the condiments, Taylor had caused the condiments to be inserted into the woman’s private area, causing an intense burning sensation.
Taylor grabbed the victim the next day and reportedly bit her left cheek, upper arms, legs and lower back, according to an arrest warrant.
Police report Taylor told the victim if she tried to call for help, he would make sure she loses everything. Taylor proceeded to take away any electronics from the home in Radcliff to prevent calling for help.
The next day, on July 3, Taylor showed up at the victim’s place of work demanding money and saying threats to her, according to a warrant.
She told Taylor she had no money, which caused Taylor to become more aggressive. Patrons of the business had to stand between Taylor and the woman, the warrant stated.
Later that month, on July 28, while appearing in court for an Emergency Protective Order, Taylor told the court that he and the woman were involved in an argument over money that she had spent.
Taylor has reportedly made a statement to the court that he had stripped the woman of her pants and poured condiments on her and bit her in multiple areas after he was sprayed in the face with rubbing alcohol.
Taylor was arrested Saturday and charged with first-degree rape – domestic violence; intimidating a participant in the legal process; fourth-degree assault – domestic violence, minor injury; third-degree terroristic threatening; menacing; and failure to appear.
Taylor is being held in lieu of a $250,000 bond at the Hardin County Detention Center.
