Police arrested a 19-year-old man for causing thousands of dollars’ worth of damage inside Roland Bland Park in Bowling Green.
According to Bowling Green Police, officers received reports of extensive graffiti and multiple items damaged or destroyed inside the park over the weekend. The damage allegedly costs at least $10,000.
On Tuesday evening, police said park employees notified officers the suspect was in the skate park.
Officers found Miles Small, who was carrying a backpack containing several cans of spray paint, alcohol, drugs and drug paraphernalia.
During questioning, Bowling Green Police said Small admitted to causing the damage inside the park.
He was arrested and taken to the Warren County Regional Jail on the following charges:
Criminal Mischief, 1st Degree
Possession of Marijuana
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Person 18–20 in Possession of Alcohol Purchased by Another
Failure to Appear
Bowling Green Police say the case is still under investigation and additional charges and pending.
