A woman died after crashing into a utility pole and an apartment building in Louisville’s Prestonia neighborhood.
Louisville Metro Police said they responded to a call just after 9 p.m. Wednesday of a car crashing into a building in the 4000 block of Preston Highway.
At the scene, investigators discovered a woman was driving a SUV northbound on Preston Highway, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a utility pole before coming to a stop against an apartment building.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
LMPD’s Traffic Unit is leading the investigation.
