
A person was taken to the hospital after an apartment fire in the Bashford Manor neighborhood Saturday evening.
The Louisville Fire Department said around 8:05 p.m. on November 8, crews were called to 2006 Goldsmith Lane. There, they found a two-story apartment building with heavy fire engulfing the second floor.
Louisville Fire Department said the fire was under control by 8:34 p.m., and it took 30 firefighters to contain the blaze.
While putting out the fire, officials said one person was rescued from the structure. That person, an adult, was taken to UofL Hopsital for treatment.
No information was shared regarding the cause of the fire or the status of the person injured.
