A suspect was arrested on Friday in connection to two separate sexual assaults committed at knifepoint, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Huber Iran Argello-Aguilar, 25 of Louisville, was taken into custody after being accused of two rapes that occurred in July and August.
According to arrest warrants, on July 28, 2025, Argello-Aguilar is suspected of holding a victim at knife point and demanding she perform sexual acts on him after he had offered her a ride home.
During the assault, the victim noticed the lights from a patrol officer’s car. She fled the suspect’s vehicle and flagged the officers down.
The officers detained Argello-Aguilar and took him to the office of sexual and physical investigations, where he was swabbed for the victim’s DNA.
Argello-Aguilar is also accused of engaging in sexually assaulting another victim that he offered a ride home to on November 3, 2025.
The suspect is believed to have driven past the victim’s home and pulled into an abandoned lot, where he then threw the victim out of the car and held a knife to the victim’s neck.
Argello-Aguilar is being charged with sodomy, wanton endangerment, rape, assault, unlawful imprisonment and menacing.
The investigation remains ongoing.
