A Louisville judge has dismissed several charges in a deadly hit-and-run case.
In April of 2023, police arrested Angelo Collier, claiming he had hit and killed 34-year-old Vinnie Jacoway in January while he was crossing the road.
Collier was at the time charged with one count of manslaughter, two counts of fleeing and evading and two counts of assault.
According to court documents, on November 26, 2025, a judge ordered the charges of manslaughter, receiving stolen property, leaving the scene of an accident, tampering with evidence and driving on a suspended license dismissed without prejudice.
Currently, Collier is charged with two counts of wanton endangerment, one count of criminal mischief, and two counts of fleeing and evading police.
Collier is set to appear in court on January 22.
