A man is dead after being shot multiple times in the Shelby Park neighborhood on Wednesday.
Louisville Metro Police say that just before 6 p.m. officers responded to a call of a person down inside an apartment in the 600 block of East Oak Street.
Upon arrival, officers found a man who had been shot multiple times. Due to the severity of the injuries, he was pronounced dead by EMS.
