
Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested two men on multiple drug offenses on Tuesday, December 2.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop that led to the arrest of 51-year-old Jeffrey Carden of Des Moines, IA. He was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine) and lodged in the Christian County Detention Center under a $5,000 cash bond.
On that same day, detectives with the Anti-Crime Unit arrested 47-year-old Tremayne Welch of Hopkinsville. He was charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine); Trafficking in Synthetic Drugs-1st Offense (Suspected Spice); Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia.
He was also served an active arrest warrant for Strangulation 1st Degree (Domestic Violence) and Assault 4th (Domestic Violence).
He is lodged in the Christian County Detention Center under a $20,000 cash bond.
