General Motors Assembly Plant announced the recipients of their 2025 Impact Grants on Thursday in Bowling Green, distributing $200,000 to local nonprofits.
Community leaders, nonprofit organizations and employees packed into the General Motors Assembly Plant to celebrate the company’s commitment to the community.
The funding supports programs that tackle education, workforce training, conservation and mentorship with an emphasis on STEAM learning for future generations.
The 2025 recipients included:
the Bowling Green Area Chamber Foundation
Green River Regional Education Cooperative
Governor’s Scholars Program Foundation
Friends of Lost River and United Way of Southern Kentucky
GM said choosing the recipients is never easy, but each organization selected showed a measurable impact on the community and plans to grow that impact in 2026.
For GM employees, it is a reminder of how their work extends beyond the assembly line.
