A cyber tip led to the arrest of a Bowling Green man on child porn charges.
Detectives with the Bowling Green Police Department received a cyber tip through the Internet Crimes Against Children. According to the arrest citation, a photo was uploaded to a Kik account, depicting an adult man having sexual intercourse with a toddler.
Authorities linked that video back to 24 year-old Sean Campau of Bowling Green.
Detectives obtained a search warrant for his residence and vehicle, where multiple electronics were seized.
After a detective made contact with Campau, he agreed to speak. He then admitted that the Kik account was his and that he uploaded pictures to a role-playing chat.
Campau was arrested on Tuesday (12/16) and lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
He is charged with possession or viewing of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 12 and distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
The investigation is ongoing.
