Louisville Metro police have arrested a man who they say robbed three businesses at gunpoint.
Shayne Darius Elfalan, 34, of Louisville, is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on three counts of robbery, first degree. His bond has been set at $100,000 cash.
The arrest citation says Elfalan was armed with a handgun when he robbed the Speedway at 4308 Bishop Lane and the Dollar General at 7427 3rd Street Road on December 14, 2025 and the Speedway at 8325 Preston Highway two days later.
Police say the getaway vehicle was recorded on video surveillance in the area of each of the robberies. About one hour after the last robbery, the car was spotted by police at Dixie Highway and W. Hill Street. The arrest citation says Elfalan tried to evade police and fled on foot. He was eventually taken into custody in the 1700 block of W. Gaulbert Avenue.
Inside the car, police found the handgun used along with distinctive clothing that was worn during the holdup. Also in the vehicle were money and lottery tickets taken during the Preston Highway robbery.
