A man is dead after being shot multiple times near the Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Officers responded to a call at around 4:14 p.m. of a shooting in the 3000 block of Fordhaven Road on Saturday, December 20.
At the scene, first responders found a vehicle in a ditch and a man lying near it, believed to be in his mid twenties, who had been shot multiple times.
Despite attempts at life-saving treatment, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Initial investigations revealed that a large crowd was present at the time of the shooting, and are believed to have critical information about the incident.
