
A woman was injured late Friday night in a Shively neighborhood apartment shooting.
Louisville Metro Police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 3600 block of Manslick Road. When officers arrived, they found a woman who was suffering from a gunshot wound.
Officers rendered aid until EMS arrived. EMS transported the woman to University of Louisville Hospital where she is believed to have non-life-threatening injuries.
LMPD’s Non-Fatal shooting unit has taken control of the investigation. Detectives are working to learn what caused the shooting as well as a motive.
At this time, there are no known suspects.
