A teenager is dead after a shooting in the Parkland neighborhood on Sunday, December 28.
Louisville police said around 5:50 a.m., staff at Norton Healthcare West contacted officers about a boy, believed to be 15 years old, who had been brought to the hospital with a gunshot wound.
Police said the staff quickly provided care to the victim, but he had succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Louisville Metro Police said after gathering information that the shooting happened at a house in the 3200 block of West Kentucky Street, they were able to locate a scene there.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is investigating. There are currently no suspects.
