Louisville has suspended the liquor license belonging to the American Legion Post on Greenwood Avenue.
Yellow stickers are now stuck on the entry doors ordering liquor sales to cease.
The suspension follows a shooting inside the bar that happened around 2 a.m. on New Year’s Day. Police found a 50-year-old with a gunshot wound.
She was taken to the hospital. At the time, Louisville Metro Police described her injuries as “critical and life-threatening.”
Homicide detectives are handling the investigation.
