Human remains discovered in McCracken County have been identified as a Bowling Green woman, according to Coroner Amanda Melton.
The remains were located in a wooded area at a dead-end near Tennessee Street and South 13th Street. They belonged to a 35-year-old white woman.
No foul play was determined. As a result, the coroner declined to release her name.
Authorities, including the coroner’s office, Paducah Police, and the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s Office, worked together to identify the remains.
